Krishna has spent over 20 years in the field of mental health and substance use recovery, having helped in the creation and development of several other treatment programs in Southern California before choosing to start Casa Recovery on her own. She studied Human Services at Saddleback College and served as an educator for and member of the California Association for Alcohol/Drug Educators (CAADE). She also trained in Relapse Prevention, Crisis Intervention, Denial Management, Primordial Sound Meditation, and Recovery Coaching.
Over the last 11 years she and her clinical team have transformed Casa Recovery from a small primary substance abuse treatment program to one of the leading mental health treatment programs in the country. The integrated program at Casa now embraces intensive individual and family therapy, evidence-based and holistic modalities, psychological testing and psychiatry to work together to treat chronic behavioral health issues under one roof. This comprehensive approach to mental health care, perfected at Casa Recovery, is now a model for programs nationwide.
